2014 GARDEN CLUB PROGRAMS

June 16th - 6:30 p.m.  Meet at the Faith Lutheran Church for carpooling or go to the first stop at Mark and Deanna Jones Farm at 5600 South Shunk Road at 7:00 p.m.  Tour will include at least three gardens in the area.  Newcomers welcome.  Annual dues are only $10.  Find us on Facebook: Sault Area Garden Club.

July - July 21, Monday
July’s meeting will be a tour and lunch at Pond Hill Farm, 5 miles north of Harbor Springs, on M-119.  We have a group menu from which to choose a lunch by July 17.  The farm has a nursery, trout pond, animals, a vineyard and wine tasting room, a café, a market and much more.  Carpooling from the Faith Lutheran Church at 9:00 a.m.  Please call Linda Metrish, 632-8512, for more details.  Newcomers welcome.  Annual dues are only $10.  Find us on Facebook: Sault Area Garden Club.

August  18th - will tour Janice and Bill Frye’s gardens.   Janice will share cooking ideas from the garden.   12574 S. Mackinac Trail, Dafter.

September - SATURDAY - 27th - Visit Vermillion again with Dr. Tom Allen.  So many enjoyed the trip, we will return!  Details later.

October 20th - Faith Lutheran Church - 7:00pm - we will each make a beautiful arrangement for fall with Carol Askwith.

November 17th - Gifts from the garden.  We will be making one or more gifts to take home from natural items.  Faith Lutheran Church, 7:00pm

December - Co-Ed flowers are back ………  more later!
